Reco

Chair with cantilever frame

Reco, created by Berg & Hindenes, combines Scandinavian design with modern functionality, balancing the practicality of an office chair with the soft support of an armchair. The 3D-shaped backrest follows the body's natural contours, providing ergonomic support with a focus on the lower back, even during extended sitting. The seat and backrest are made with molded foam of varying densities to ensure optimal comfort. With its fully upholstered design, Reco combines a visually appealing appearance with practical features, making the chair adaptable to various interior concepts. The choice between different bases and two backrest heights allows it to meet both comfort requirements and style preferences.Reco with a cantilever base provides gentle flex.

Construction

Reco features a two-part seat and backrest, joined with black-lacquered metal brackets. The seat is made of 12 mm laminated plywood covered with molded polyurethane foam. The upholstery is removable via a zipper located at the back. The backrest consists of 10 mm laminated plywood covered with molded polyurethane foam. The backrest upholstery has a zipper at the bottom. To create the indentation in the backrest, a clip-on strip is used, with one part sewn onto the fabric and the other fastened to the wooden backrest with staples. The frame is made of Ø22 mm steel tubing with a spring effect. It features floor protectors in transparent plastic.
