Modular sofa

Appoint is a flexible beam sofa designed in collaboration with Olle Lundberg. With its soft, Scandinavian shapes and wooden details, it creates a warm, stylish, and comfortable seating environment for public spaces such as waiting areas, receptions, and airports. The sofa offers high seating comfort and clearly defined seats. It can be upholstered in disinfectable faux leather and features a split seat and back (crumb gap), making it ideal for environments with strict hygiene requirements. The open leg construction makes cleaning easier, and the sofa can also be fixed to the floor. Appoint is modular and adaptable – it can be configured with armrests, tables, various seat widths, seat height adjustments, and spacer legs. Thanks to its thoughtful design, components can easily be replaced or reconfigured when needed.

Details

Appoint can be upholstered in disinfectable artificial leather and features a split seat and backrest (crumb gap), making it ideal for environments with strict hygiene requirements. The open leg frame simplifies cleaning, and the sofa can also be fixed to the floor. Appoint is adaptable with spacer legs (creating extra distance from the rear wall), an extra-wide seat, raised seat height, and can be complemented with tables and angled corner tables. It features clearly defined seating positions and armrests, available either fully in metal or upholstered in artificial leather or fabric. Armrests can be positioned at the ends or between each seat.

Construction

The seat and backrest are made of plywood and moulded PUR foam, with a removable fabric cover attached via zip. A steel bracket connects the seat and backrest for added structural stability. The beam is crafted from finger-jointed solid wood with a water-based lacquer finish. Legs and brackets are made of powder-coated metal, featuring adjustable plastic glides. The tabletop has a straight edge and a 22 mm fibreboard core.
